Starrlight Mead & Cider is North Carolina’s oldest meadery, established in 2010 in Pittsboro, NC, specializing in award-winning meads and hard ciders ranging from traditional wine-like styles to bold fruit-infused, herb-infused, and seasonal varieties like the margarita-inspired Honeyed Rita. They host tastings, tours, classes, and events such as Mead Fest at their winery, while offering online sales, a Mead Club, and retail distribution. Founders Becky and Ben Starr lead the team in sharing mead's history and crafting new favorites.
