Accendo Estate, founded by the Araujo family in 2013 as Accendo Cellars, crafts classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc with a focus on exceptional vineyard sites and blends that capture the valley's diversity. Recently transitioned to a grower-owned operation under proprietors Jack Bittner, Giancarlo Bettinelli, and Paul Goldberg, with Nigel Kinsman continuing as winemaker and production at Wheeler Farms in St. Helena. They offer private tastings by appointment and emphasize quality, consistency, and sense of place.
June 2025: Araujo family sells Accendo to Jack Bittner and Bettinelli family (brand and inventory only). Napa Cabernet 2022 receives 97 points from Jonathon Cristaldi. Sauvignon Blanc 2022 praised in '7 Stellar White Wines' article (January 2025).
