Turtle Stack Brewery is a small independent craft brewery and tasting room in historic downtown La Crosse, WI, producing high-quality local beers for residents, surrounding communities, and visitors to the upper Mississippi River Valley. They feature 9 taps with rotating hand-crafted beers emphasizing variety and seasonal specialties, and are expanding distribution to local bars and restaurants. "Default" (SMaSH Golden Ale)
Single Malt and Single Hop (and doubly refreshing). Light and grainy malt brightened with fruity honeydew & citrus hop flavors with a crisp finish.
European Pale Lager
European version of an American Light Lager. Balanced malt & hop simplicity.
"Betty the Gnome" (Belgian-Style Blonde Ale)
2024 World Beer Cup Gold Award winning golden ale. Featuring light malt sweetness, fruity/spicy Belgian yeast complexity, and a subtly warming alcohol finish.
"Number 4" (Oat Brown Ale)
Nutty, toasty, and rich with toffee caramel and a peppery hop finish.
Irish Red Ale
Light caramel sweetness with hints of toast and toffee and a dry, roasted malt finish.
Noble India Pale Lager
Lager featuring 'noble' hop character from a pile of Czech Saaz. Crisp with rounded floral and earthy hop aroma and flavor.
"Alpha User" (IPA)
Bright resinous and grapefruit hop flavor and aroma with sweet malt and a persistent floral hop finish.
Foreign Extra Stout
Robust Dark Beer. Bitter chocolate & dark roasted coffee flavors with a dry finish.
"CoBalt" (Toasted Coconut Baltic Porter)
Black with ruby hues. Full bodied malt sweetness presents as chocolate & dark caramelized sugar supports a generous Toasted Coconut addition.
