About
Nansemond Brewing Station is a brewery located in a nearly 4,700-square-foot historic building dating back to 1914 in Downtown Suffolk, Virginia. Formerly Brick and Mortar Brewing, it was launched in 2019 by local investors to create distinctive beers using different hops and grains. The venue features a tasting room with 20-foot ceilings, a brewing observation window, private event space, outdoor seating, and a beer garden, along with events and a run club.

What They Make
Beenut Butter Brown Ale
Loaded with peanut butter and locally harvested honey, this Nut Brown Ale is rich in flavor with a smooth body. It has a dark amber color and a creamy tan head. The smell and taste of candied peanuts fill your nose and palate as you enjoy the taste of Suffolk.
Firefly
This glowing hazy IPA is bursting with notes of citrus and tropical fruits. Incredibly smooth and flavorful from a combination of malted oats and wheat with the best quality hops lets this IPA shine bright against the rest.
Oh My Godwin (OMG) Hard Seltzer
A classic seltzer inspired by former Governor of Virginia and Suffolkian that left his mark on this area. It is flavored with the refreshing taste of tangerine.
