Founded in February 2011 by Bill and Karen Butcher, Port City Brewing Company is the longest operating brewery in metropolitan Washington, D.C., located in Alexandria, Virginia. They brew a lineup of year-round beers along with seasonal, occasional, and specialty beers that are well-balanced and celebrate raw ingredients. The brewery offers tastings, tours, events, and a family- and pet-friendly tasting room with food from La Tingeria.
