Great Marsh Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Essex, MA on the Boston North Shore, featuring a state-of-the-art 30hl brewhouse, taproom, and main bar with views of the Great Marsh. They produce a wide range of beers including American Pale Ale, Bavarian Hefeweizen, IPAs, lagers, and stouts, plus all-natural Spaß Craft Hard Seltzers with zero sugar and carbs. The kitchen is currently closed, but the main bar offers beer, wine, spirits, and light snacks on weekends.

What They Make
American Pale Ale
Crisp and light-bodied, the APA offers up a clean grassy aroma followed by a deliciously strong citrus bite. With a light malt base and a heavy dry-hop of Citra and Mosaic expect notes of grapefruit and fresh orange zest.
Bavarian Hefeweizen
A classic Bavarian wheat beer that demands a huge proportion of malted wheat in the grain bill, providing a soft mouthfeel and robust head. Our brewing process, paired with our traditional weissbier yeast yields tons of banana esters and phenols of pepper, clove and spice.
Belgian Tripel
A strong, Trappist-style ale brewed with traditional Belgian malts. Notes of spiced-honey, banana and clove provide a uniquely delicious beer that packs a punch.
Belgian Witbier
A Belgian classic brewed with coriander and sweet orange peel. A wheat malt base provides a soft mouthfeel layered with a pleasant aroma of fruit and spice from our Belgian yeast.
Cologne Kölsch
Inspired by the beer of Cologne, this ale is fermented and conditioned at lager temperatures to produce a clean and refreshing pale beer with a crisp hop finish.
English Brown Ale
A Southern English Brown Ale that is loaded with dark malt aroma and flavor. A robust chocolate characteristic leads into notes of caramel and a slight coffee finish.
German Pils
A traditional German offering that presents with a pale straw color, brilliant clarity and a robust white head that leaves a delicate lacing on the glass. Classic German noble hops lend a fresh, herbal hop aroma that pairs perfectly with the pale malt.
Juiced Newton
Mega dry-hopped IPA bursts of juicy, tropical fruit in a beautiful golden haze.
Mexican Lager
A light, crisp and refreshing Mexican-style Lager that is brewed with real lime. This perfect summer beer blends the refreshing palate of a lager with a subtle corn sweetness and the crisp finish of fresh lime.
Munich Helles
A crisp and clear malt-forward Bavarian Lager with notes of cereal and freshly-baked bread. Soft malt sweetness is met by a very subtle hop undertone.
NEIPA V14 / Deuce Newton
A double dry-hopped Double New England IPA that is bursting with flavors of tropical fruit, melon, cantaloupe, lime and candied-orange. Presented as hazy, pale gold with a soft white head.
Sea Session
A crisp, refreshing smooth light lager with a hint of malt sweetness and a clean finish. Absolutely crushable.
Vanilla Stout
A warm and roasty irish stout that welcomes you with notes of coffee and chocolate. A soft vanilla sweetness follows from the addition of Madagascar vanilla bean.
West Coast IPA
A classic, west coast IPA brewed entirely with Cascade hops sourced from the west coast of the US. A noticeable pine and grapefruit hop note is offset by the sweetness of caramel malts.
