Yoerg Brewing Company, Minnesota's first commercial brewery founded in 1848 by Anthony Yoerg, was revived in 2016 and brews traditional Bavarian-style lagers on premise in Saint Paul. It offers an extensive selection of nearly 250 Old World European beers with a focus on Belgian and German monastery beers, affordable artisanal wines by the glass, and an old-world food menu including Usinger's bratwursts and pub pizzas. Known as the finest European beer bar in the Midwest with a 1940s-50s saloon ambiance on Historic Dayton's Bluff.
