Sylvan Brewing, founded in 2020 by Karen and Andy Heimdahl, is Lanesboro’s first brewery in over 100 years, located in a former granary on the north edge of historic downtown Lanesboro, MN. They categorize their beers into Comfy (easy-drinkers), Crafty (robust flavors), and Crazy (experimental), served in a taproom with year-round patio featuring heaters and fire pit. Dogs are welcome on the patio, and they host regular events like live music, comedy, workshops, and private gatherings in the Scale Room.
