Strange Roots exists at the intersection of farmhouse brewing tradition and creative, locally-driven experimentation. They’re passionate about celebrating their environment through the use of local ingredients, varying fermentation methods and micro flora, creating unique artisan ales inspired by the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. They operate two Pittsburgh-area taprooms that are family and dog friendly with indoor and outdoor seating, each partnering with a unique restaurant for full food menus.
