About
Verboten Brewing & Barrel Project is a craft brewery with locations in Loveland and Fort Collins, Colorado, producing a range of beers including Czech-style lagers, hazy IPAs, wheat beers, and caramel porters. They derive their name from rejecting the German Reinheitsgebot purity law, embracing 'forbidden' ingredients like fruit, spice, and barrel aging processes. The brewery offers award-winning beers, daily events, kitchen menus, and online ordering at their taprooms.

What They Make
Czech Dark Lager
Czech-style lager made with local Root Shoot Pilsner and dark malts for color and mild roast flavors. Poured Lukr style.
Thinking Of Something Orange
Orange Blossom Honey Wheat. Our refreshing American wheat features natural orange blossom honey, and orange puree for a bright, citrus flavor.
Thawed Out
This fermented American IPA was brewed with a harmonious blend of Cashmere and Cascade hops. The Cashmere hops bring a subtle touch of sweetness, a hint of lemon, pine and a crisp mouthfeel that balances perfectly with the zesty grapefruit notes of the Cascade hops. The body is light with a crisp, refreshing finish.
Stealth Haze
Hazy/Juicy IPA made with oats, wheat malt and hopped with El Dorado, Mosaic, and Citra!
Killer Boots
NEW LOOK, SAME GREAT TASTE! Our caramel porter is an English-style porter with a pleasing roastiness and chocolate notes. Our base porter recipe is infused with our house-made caramel at the end of fermentation.
Czech-Style Pilsner
Crushable & refreshing Bohemian-style pilsner made with Root Shoot Malting pilsner, flaked oats and hopped with Czech Saaz.
