Gorget Distilling Co. is a craft distillery founded in 2015 by three locals in Lugoff, SC, named after a piece of Revolutionary War armor tied to South Carolina history. They produce rum, vodka, whiskey, and bourbon in small batches using grains from local Midlands farms, with corn for bourbon crushed at the 100+ year old water-powered Boykin Mill. Their focus is on simple, creative, local handcrafted spirits.
