Winterset Cidery is Iowa's first cidery, built in a post and beam building adjacent to its apple orchard with over 30 varieties of heirloom, cider, and dessert apple trees. They produce hard apple cider made with juice from Midwest-grown apples. The new owners, the Findlay Family, purchased it in February 2025 and plan to open for the season April 9th-12th, 2026, continuing the tradition of locally made cider in a spacious tasting room with an outdoor deck overlooking the orchard.
