Freestone Vineyards, part of Joseph Phelps Vineyards, produces elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from two estate vineyards—Pastorale and Quarter Moon—on the fog-swept Sonoma Coast. Founded in the late 1990s by pioneer Joseph Phelps on raw land dismissed by others as too cold and rugged, it embodies his visionary spirit with wines of precision and profound place expression. The Freestone winery opened in 2007, and its designates are now available to the broader market for the first time.
