About
Carol Shelton, known as the Queen of Zinfandel, has been crafting single-vineyard Zinfandels from old vines across California regions like Dry Creek Valley, Rockpile, and Cucamonga since 1978. Partnering with husband Mitch Mackenzie, she focuses on organically grown grapes and uses wild yeasts for her Wild Thing series, giving wines whimsical names that reflect their terroir and personality. The winery offers a range of Zinfandels, Chardonnay, Rosé, and late-harvest wines with screw-cap closures.
