Blue Slip Winery, founded in 2009 by Jeff Galyon, was Knoxville’s first winery and Tennessee’s first urban winery located in the Old City district. It pioneered 'Farm to Glass' wines by contracting with local farmers for custom crush, becoming the first in Tennessee to do so. The winery moved to the 1903 Historical Southern Railway Station in 2015, featuring a tasting bar and event ballrooms, but is currently closed while relocating to a new location.
