Hawkes Wine is a family-owned winery in Sonoma County's Alexander Valley. They first planted Cabernet Sauvignon in 1972, 12 years before the appellation was established, and released their first vintage under the Hawkes name 30 years later as 100% estate Cabernet Sauvignon grown, crushed, barreled, and bottled by the family. The winery emphasizes estate-grown wines from their vineyards.
