Santa Rosa Junior College’s Shone Farm is a 365-acre outdoor classroom in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley, providing hands-on education in sustainable agriculture, viticulture, natural resource management, and animal science. The farm features vineyards, forests, pastures, gardens, livestock, and a winery, producing farm products including award-winning olive oil. It hosts community events like U-pick days and the Fall Harvest Festival, emphasizing sustainability and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
