Tempest Cellars is a family-owned and veteran-owned winery in North Carolina, situated on generational Burgess family land previously used for tobacco and lumber. They craft wines from muscadine grapes grown wild on the property, including Tempest Cellars and Wildcat Wines, with head winemaker Joe Burgess trained in Enology and Viticulture. The winery opened for business on January 1, 2025, after bottling their third wine in December 2024.
