MELANATED WINE

Melanated Wine and Spirits is the first woman and Black-owned urban winery in Durham, NC, founded by Lashonda Fort-Modest to decomplicate wine for the minority community and embody the motto 'uncork the culture.' They produce seven premium wines including reds, Riesling, White Sangria, and offer wine tastings, private events, catering, and a welcoming tasting room. The winery celebrates culture, passion, and delicious wine through tailored experiences like elevated tastings with charcuterie.
