Nottely River Valley Vineyards, LLC is a family-owned and operated vineyard and winery established in 2008 on a 93-acre farm owned since 1820. The 10-acre vineyard features high-density plantings of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Primitivo, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and French hybrids like Chambourcin, Chardonel, and Seyval Blanc, with viticulture practices including leaf pruning, cluster thinning, and limited production for high-quality fruit. The gravity-flow winery with geo-thermal cooling emphasizes minimal intervention to produce Old World style, hand-crafted wines; first harvest was 2011.
