About
Mount Pleasant Estates is Augusta's oldest winery, founded in 1859 by German brothers George and Frederick Muench, and located in the first designated American Viticultural Area. They grow grapes locally in the Augusta Appellation and produce a range of award-winning wines including Norton, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Vignoles. The winery offers a tasting room, Appellation Cafe, weddings, private events, live music, and year-round entertainment.
