Thunder Bay Winery is a small, family-owned and operated vineyard and winery located in Historic Downtown Alpena, Michigan, near Lake Huron. Established with vines planted in Ossineke in 2005 and the winery opening in Alpena in 2012, they produce white, red, fruit, ciders, and dessert wines from 12 grape varieties plus apples, pears, cherries, and currants. Tasting rooms in Alpena and Petoskey offer personalized wine experiences with flights, glasses, and seasonal outdoor seating.
