Lake Michigan Vintners is the Midwest’s first commercial teaching winery, partnered with Lake Michigan College to offer an accredited A.A.S. degree in Wine & Viticulture Technology with hands-on experience in winemaking and vineyard management. They produce world-class wines and ciders from the Lake Michigan Shore AVA, sourcing fruit from local growers and pressing in-house to reflect the region's terroir. Their tasting room in the Welch Center for Wine & Viticulture inspires love for Michigan wine through public tastings and educational opportunities.
