Northern Sun Winery is a family-owned estate winery in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, handcrafting wines from cold-hardy grapes bred for northern climates. The unique terroir of glacial deposits and limestone bedrock imparts natural crispness and minerality. Owned by Wendy and Melissa Middaugh since 2020, with son Jonathan Bovard as Vineyard Manager and Vintner, they produce red, white, rosé, and fruit wines.
