Red Heifer Winery is a family-owned winery on the historic Naylor family farm in Smithsburg, MD, where owners Kevin and Yvonne Ford planted vines in 2010 on the site of the old peach orchard and opened in November 2012. Winemaker Kevin Ford crafts all wines on-site using stainless steel, American oak, and French oak, with every bottle handled by the Fords. The winery honors its multi-generational farming legacy, symbolized by the 'red heifer' story, and is part of the Maryland Wineries Association and Antietam Highlands Wine Trail.
