Chemeketa Community College's Wine Studies program operates the Northwest Wine Studies Center, home to an 8-acre vineyard and Chemeketa Cellars, a fully functional estate teaching winery and public tasting room in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA of West Salem, Oregon. They provide hands-on education in winemaking, vineyard management, and wine hospitality, producing award-winning wines from estate fruit that express the local terroir. The center emphasizes alliances with the Northwest wine industry and offers degrees, certificates, and continuing education from grape to glass.
