Markko Vineyard and Winery, founded in 1968 by Arnie Esterer and Tim Hubbard, is the original and oldest estate vineyard in Ohio specializing in European Vinifera grapes and wines. They produce the highest quality dry European wines including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, and Pinot Noir. Their rich soil, cool climate, and proximity to Lake Erie create a unique Lake Erie Conneaut Creek terroir.
