Lower Left Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Charlotte's historic Lower Southend neighborhood, opened in August 2019 by owners Tim Curtis and Alex Shoenthal. They specialize in a wide range of beers including IPAs, Sour Ales, Mixed-Fermentation styles, Farmhouse and Belgian-inspired brews, Historic and Experimental beers, Barrel-Aged beers, Fruit and Botanical infusions, and traditional/session styles, featuring many of Alex's award-winning homebrew recipes. Winners of North Carolina 2021 Brewery of the Year and New Brewery of the Year.
