Laconia Ale Works

Laconia Ale Works is Sparta and Alleghany County's first brewery, locally owned and operated on the north end of downtown Main Street in Sparta, NC. Their taproom features a large open interior space and an even larger patio with a fire pit, brewed on a modest seven-barrel system focusing on a wide variety of beer styles including light lagers, hoppy pales, and dark porters. They also offer wine, cider, ginger beer, select craft cocktails, and snacks, with outside food allowed, cornhole, board games, and events like open mic nights.
