Iron Key Brewing Co. is a craft brewery housed in a repurposed former North Carolina prison in Columbus, NC. Founded in 2020 by a brewmaster, bar expert, and prison owner after a 2018 pact over pints, it offers craft beers and food in a unique historic setting themed around the original iron prison key. The taproom invites visitors to 'serve time' lingering over good pints with doors wide open.
