Black Shirt Brewing Co. is a Denver brewery crafting authentic beer and scratch-made pizza using spent grains from their brewing process blended with Italian flours for unique depth and flavor. Symbolizing rebellion, independence, and standing apart like the black shirts they wear, they brew for thinkers, doers, and makers who value authenticity over trends. Founded in 1999 and opened to the public in 2012, the brewery has been owned by homebrewers Karen and Jimmy Dodson since late December 2021.
