Mare Island Brewing Co. is a brewery founded by two winemakers honoring the historic Mare Island naval shipyard established in 1854, where 40,000 workers contributed through multiple wars. They handcraft beers worthy of this legacy and operate three taprooms: Ferry Taproom in Vallejo, Coal Shed Brewery on Mare Island, and First Street Taphouse in Benicia.
