Talking Cedar is a 35,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art distillery, brewery, and restaurant operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation in Grand Mound, WA. They produce locally-inspired craft beers like Pacific Northwest IPA, Chehalis Light lager, and award-winning spirits including Small Batch Gin, barrel-finished brandies, and whiskeys in collaboration with partners like Westland Distillery. They overturned a discriminatory 1834 law prohibiting distilling on tribal lands, marking a new era of native craftsmanship since 2018.
