Mattaponi Winery is a family-owned winery in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, producing hand-crafted, national and international award-winning specialty fruit wines. The Evans family has lived on the land for over 100 years, surrounded by four rivers that form the Mattaponi River, which inspired the winery's name. Winemakers Michael and Janette Evans have crafted wines for over 30 years using water filtered 11 times for 99% purity.
