The Thistle and Stag is a family-run meadery in central Virginia producing mead, or honey wine, with some straight mead and others blended and aged with fruits. They make mead the old-fashioned way using local, unpasteurized honey that is never boiled, crafting in small batches for consistent flavor and color with no chemicals, sulfates, or preservatives. All meads are still, not bubbly.
