Wind Rose Cellars is a winery on the Olympic Peninsula aspiring to be the Pacific Northwest's premier producer of Italian-style wines from small lots of grapes grown in Yakima Valley. They hand-craft whites like Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Albarino, Orange Muscat, and dry Rosato, plus reds including Barbera, Dolcetto, Sangiovese, Sagrantino, and many rare varieties for Washington state, with total production around 1000 cases. Inspired by trips to Italy's Piedmont and Sicily, they emphasize Old Country character and pair wines with food passions.
