Whalebone Vineyard is the Robert and Janalyn Simpson family business established in 1989 in Adelaide, California, in the Santa Lucia Mountain Range west of Paso Robles. On their 128 acres, they raise Angus cattle, grow Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in their renowned vineyard, and produce wines in their Whalebone Tasting Barn. Their world-class terroir features a coastal climate, limestone and calcareous soils with fossilized seashells, and rocky south-facing hillsides, producing standout Cabernet Sauvignons, Cab blends including cult favorite BOB WINE, Zinfandel, Rosé, and Red Rhone blends.
